In celebration of the 2023 Labor Day, the Provincial Government of Bulacan through its Provincial Youth, Sports and PESO will conduct a face-to-face JOB FAIR dubbed, "Pabahay, Bilihing Abot-Presyo, Benepisyo ng Matatag na Trabaho para sa Manggagawang Pilipino", on May 4, 2023, 8am at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium, Capitol Compound, City of Malolos, Bulacan with more than 40 local employers and 10 overseas agencies—in partnership with DOLE and DMW formerly POEA—that aims to bring in one venue with over 2,000 job vacancies for Bulakenyo jobseekers.
The job fair components are as follows: • Employer Booths by Key Employment Growth Sector • Hired-on-the-Spot Booth • Employment Counseling Desk from DOLE • Labor Education and Livelihood Desk • TESDA Booth with Skills Demonstration and Training Opportunities • DTI Booth with MSME and Entrepreneurship Programs Assistance
Moreover, employment-related allied services from provincial offices of different NGAs (ie., NBI, SSS, DFA, BIR, PSA, PHILHEALTH and PAG-IBIG) will also be joining in the event to provide front desk assistance to the job applicants.
In lieu of the theme, this activity will be offering KADIWA Retail Store (rolling store) in partnership with the Provincial Agricultural Office which aims to directly sell fresh produce including rice, vegetables and fruits at retail prices. For other community services, there will be FREE Haircutting and Massage Therapy in partnership with the graduates of In-house Skills Training. Additionally, a Trade Fair led by DTI Traders and selected DILP beneficiaries which aims to showcase their products and services will be offered accordingly.
To aid in costs of documents printing and photocopying, this event also offers FREE printing and photocopying services for all jobseekers and other participants.
